Big action of Bathinda Police, arrest farmers who forced official to set stubble on fire

Bathinda: In a big action, the Bathinda police arrested nine farmers for their involvement in forcing a government official to burn the stubble. Two farmers were arrested last night. After police arrested farmers, dozen of other farmers came in support of the farmers to oppose the action of the Police. Following the arrest, the Bhartiya Kisan union (BKU) called for an emergency meeting and accused the police officials of breach of promise. It is also expected that farmers can announce a protest against the arrest of the farmers.
