Amritsar: Border Security Force in collaboration with Amritsar Police arrested two drug smugglers. BSF troops also recovered heroin from the arrested drug smugglers.
As per the information received BSF in collaboration with Amritsar Police conducted a joint operation and apprehended two drug smugglers. Both accused were involved in cross-border drug smuggling and were apprehended from village GujjarPura, District Amritsar.
BSF also recovered 1.5 kg of heroin from their possession.
Police is carrying out further investigation to establish the forward and backward linkages. BSF Punjab is dedicated to eliminating the drug menace from Punjab and safeguarding the youth from the threat of drugs.
