Ferozepur: Based on information from the BSF intelligence wing regarding the presence of narcotics consignment in the border area of district Ferozepur, BSF troops promptly launched an extensive search operation in the suspected area on 11th July 2024.
During the search, the troops successfully recovered 01 packet (Gross weight- 570 Grams) of suspected heroin from a farming field of the village– Kilche of district Ferozepur.

The narcotics were wrapped with yellow colour adhesive tape and 01 metal ring & a small torch were found attached to the packet.
Reliable input from the BSF intelligence wing and the timely action of diligent BSF troops foiled yet another illicit attempt at drug smuggling from across the border.
