In a tragic news, body of a young man was found in a deserted road on the outskirts of Mahilpur, a town located on the Hoshiarpur Chandigarh road. As soon as the police got information about it, the police officers of Mahilpur police station immediately reached the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Mandeep, whose age is around 28 years and the deceased was married and a resident of village Megowal.
Giving information, the father of the deceased youth said that his son was missing from home since yesterday and his phone was also switched off. Now today, Police found the body of the youth. He said that some time ago his elder son was also shot dead in Mahilpur and now his younger son has also died. It is expected that murder is committed out of old rivalry.
The victim’s family has appealed to the police administration to investigate the matter seriously while demanding justice. On the other hand, SP Sarabjit Singh Bahiya, who reached the spot, said that the police had received the information about the disappearance of the said youth only today and after that, the police were looking for him.
He said that the deceased had come out of the de-addiction center a few days ago and even today, a syringe and a spoon were recovered from him, from which it seems that he had a heart attack while injecting drugs, due to which he died. He said that the police is investigating the matter and after the medical report, further investigation will be carried out.
