Caught during blockade

According to the information, Manjit Kaur, a resident of village Latala, was caught during a blockade on Rachin Road in Chhapar. According to SI Gurdeep Singh, in-charge of Chhapar outpost, the woman was coming from village of Lohtbandi. As soon as she saw the police blockade, she threw the bag and started running. The police chased and caught her.

Police started investigation after registering a case

When the police searched the bag, 4 kg of Churapost (poppy husk) was recovered from it. The police have registered a case in Jodha police station. The investigating officer said that the accused woman will be produced in the court. During remand, the police will find out from where the Churaposta was purchased.
