Jalandhar: In Jalandhar, Punjab, the rural police have arrested Harpreet Singh, brother of Khadoor Sahib MP and Sikh radical supporting Khalistan Amritpal Singh, with ice (drugs). Sources have revealed that the police have recovered about 5 grams of ice drug from Harpreet Singh.

Harpreet Singh’s arrest has been confirmed by SSP Ankur Gupta of Jalandhar Rural Police. Apart from him, Jalandhar range DIG Harmanbir Singh Gill has also confirmed the said news.
Police have said that they will soon share information with the media. SSP Ankur Gupta said, “We have arrested Harpreet. We will soon share information about this with you. We have recovered ice drug from Harpreet.”
Sources also say that when he (Harpreet Singh) was caught, he was drunk. However, this has not been confirmed yet. The police have also videographed the entire incident.
Harpreet had another companion with him, who has also been detained by the police. He was arrested during a blockade on the Phillaur highway. They were in a car at that time. The police will present Amritpal’s brother Harpreet along with his companion in the court in the afternoon.
