Fazilka: MLA Narinderpal Savna held a press conference in Fazilka, Punjab. During this, he revealed that he got the JE of PSPCL caught by Vigilance on the charge of taking bribes. The complainant had come to him with a complaint. After which, he sent the complainant to Vigilance.
Giving information during the press conference at Canal Rest House in Fazilka, constituency MLA Narinderpal Savna said that JE Kulbir Singh of the Electricity Department had demanded a bribe of 10 thousand rupees to install a new transformer in place of the damaged transformer in village Mandi Hazur Singh of Fazilka. Sajjan Singh of the village complained to him about this. The MLA sent him to Vigilance.
The villagers collected money from some houses, fixed the deal for Rs. 7,000, and gave him a bribe of Rs. 7,000. Then the Vigilance raided and caught the JE red-handed. The MLA says that all the officers should be alert. If any such complaint comes against any officer, then appropriate action will be taken against him. No one will be spared.
