An alert has been issued in 13 districts of Punjab today regarding rain and storm. Orange alert has been issued for rain and storm in 8 districts Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Rupnagar, SAS Nagar, Fatehgarh and Nawanshahr.

Along with this, yellow alert has been issued for rain and storm in 5 districts Tarn Taran, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and Patiala. During this period, strong winds with a speed of 40 kmph are expected in Punjab.
