Rishikesh Beating Incident: Girl’s Mother Reveals Full Story, Says Daughter Claimed ‘Uncle Was Signaling’

In Rishikesh, the mother of a young girl has now come forward in the case where two tourists from Haryana were stripped and beaten. The woman claimed that she was going to the market with her 8-year-old daughter when some youths in a car with an HR registration number gestured towards the child and said something. The woman stopped the car and questioned them, but during this time a crowd gathered and started beating the tourists. The woman said that she tried to stop people and called the police herself on 112.

The incident occurred on the evening of May 20 in the Kali Ke Dhal area on Rishikesh-Haridwar Road. The allegations are that some youths who came from Haryana were in a car and making obscene gestures towards the woman’s daughter. The child informed her mother about this, after which the woman stopped the car and began talking to the youths.

According to the woman, there was only a conversation and a light argument between the two sides. Meanwhile, people and passers-by stopped there. Seeing this, the crowd got angry and started beating the youths. The mob started throwing stones at him. After this, the youths were first beaten inside the car. Then he took off his clothes and pulled them out. A young man was beaten up while parading on the road in a naked state. There was an atmosphere of chaos on the spot and there was a jam-like situation on the entire national highway.

1. Daughter said – the car uncle is making gestures

The woman said in the video that on the evening of May 20, she was going to Rishikesh market on a scooter with her 8-year-old daughter. Near Kali ke Dhal, a car with an HR number was following them. Then the daughter said that the people in the car were gesturing towards her and saying something. After that, the woman stopped the vehicle and asked the young men what they wanted to say.

2. We were just talking, then the crowd gathered

According to the woman, there was a conversation happening on the roadside between both sides and a slight argument also took place. During this time, nearby people and passersby started stopping there. Before long, the crowd grew. The woman said that without knowing the full story, people started beating the young men.

3. I tried a lot to stop it, then called 112 and got the police

The woman claimed that she tried hard to convince people and stop the beating, but the crowd did not listen. Seeing the situation worsen, she got scared herself and called 112 to ask the police for help. After a while, the IDPL chowki police arrived at the scene and rescued the tourists from the crowd, taking them to the hospital.

As soon as he was taken out, his underwear was removed again. After this, the crowd surrounded him on the street and started beating him again. During this, continuous abuse and shouting could be heard at the scene.

4. The second young man was sitting on the roadside covered in blood: The second young man was seen getting out of a car and sitting on the roadside with his head down. Blood was flowing from his face and mouth. Some people approached him and began beating him again, while others standing nearby kept making accusations against him.

Several vehicles stopped in the middle of the road, creating a traffic jam-like situation on the highway.
