Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal has appointed Dr Satwinderpal Singh Bittu as the party’s in-charge of the Banga Assembly constituency in Punjab.
Announcing the appointment, Badal highlighted Dr Bittu’s long career in public healthcare and his experience serving in Nawanshahr district. Dr Bittu is a retired Senior Medical Officer (SMO).
Badal expressed confidence that Dr Bittu’s experience and commitment to public life would help strengthen the Shiromani Akali Dal’s organisational presence in the constituency.
