A new study has found that small doses of a commonly used antibiotic and anti-inflammatory drug can effectively treat a rare hair loss condition caused by an overactive immune response. Researchers at New York University Langone Health discovered that lower doses of doxycycline, an antibiotic frequently used for such cases, may be just as effective.
