Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached out directly to the people of West Bengal with an open letter ahead of the 2026 West Bengal Legislative Assembly elections expected to be held on or before May 7, 2026. In the letter, distributed door-to-door by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers, Modi urged voters to back a vision.
