Chandigarh: Punjab and Chandigarh are reeling under an intense heatwave, with the Meteorological Centre in Chandigarh issuing a ‘yellow alert’ till May 24. According to the weather department, severe heatwave conditions are expected to continue across several districts of Punjab over the next few days due to extremely hot and dry winds blowing from Rajasthan.
