A US citizen was detained at Chennai International Airport on Sunday for carrying a satellite phone, which is prohibited for personal use in India. Airport officials informed that the individual, identified as David (55), was apprehended while preparing to board an early morning flight to Singapore. The CISF personnel on duty discovered the satellite phone.
