Jaipur: Delhi Capitals defeated Punjab Kings by six wickets in their final match of the IPL 2025 season at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday. Punjab Kings posted 206/8 in their 20 overs, but Delhi Capitals chased down the target with three balls to spare, courtesy of Sameer Rizvi’s unbeaten 58 off 25.
Following their thrilling one-wicket victory against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their opening match of IPL 2025, Delhi Capitals extended a wholesome and playful congratulations to their star player KL Rahul on the birth of his child.
In the final over, after missing a stumping and an unsuccessful appeal for leg-before-wicket, LSG captain Rishabh Pant had a lot riding on his decisions.
Delhi Capitals (DC) will look to make it two wins in two matches as they face an in-form Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Match 16 of the IPL 2024 on Wednesday.
