Amritsar: The district administration today demolished an illegally constructed property in Sandhu Colony, 88 Foot Road (under Police Station Sadar) that officials say was built with proceeds from drug trafficking. The action, carried out by a joint administration-police team with bulldozers, followed cases registered under the NDPS Act. A heavy police deployment secured the area.
