Almora, April 22: Earth Day 2026 was celebrated at the Govind Ballabh Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment, located in Kosi. On this occasion, researchers associated with the Institute’s Land and Water Resources Centre and the NMHS participated in a tree-plantation drive. They pledged to protect the environment and planted 50 saplings of various species.
