New Delhi: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday announced the rollout of phase two of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls across 12 states and Union Territories, covering around 51 crore voters. Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar said the move follows repeated concerns from political parties about the accuracy and quality.
1 copy each of photo electoral rolls and one CD without photo have been supplied to the representatives of the recognized political parties of the district.
