Port Louis: India has officially handed over the first batch of 10 electric buses (e-buses) to Mauritius, symbolizing a strengthening of bilateral ties between the two countries. The transfer took place during a ceremony held at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Public Service and Innovation in Reduit, in the presence of Mauritian Prime Minister.
Chennai: Chennai is set to expand its electric bus fleet with the launch of 135 new electric buses from the Perumbakkam depot on August 11, following the recent deployment of 120 electric buses from the Vyasarpadi depot. The new fleet, which includes 55 air-conditioned buses, will serve 13 routes, with a focus on improving connectivity.
