Jamia Millia Islamia has accepted key demands of protesting students after 14 days of agitation. The university will hold student union elections after approval of the union constitution, revoke suspensions and show-cause notices, and set up a committee to investigate security staff actions. While the hunger strike has ended, some students continue their sit-in at Gate No. 7, demanding a clear election date.
