Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Meerut in Uttar Pradesh today to inaugurate the remaining sections of the 82-km Delhi–Meerut Namo Bharat Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) and flag off the Meerut Metro and Namo Bharat Train services. The event marks the completion of India’s first RRTS project aimed at transforming intercity connectivity.
