Chandigarh: In nursing examination fraud case Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) has arrested Charanjit Kaur Cheema, former Registrar, Punjab Nursing Registration Council (PNRC), a retired Principal, Nursing Training School Gurdaspur and Dr. Arvinderveer Singh Gill, a resident of Basant Vihar, Hoshiarpur. Vigilance Bureau arrest all the accused after investigation of a complaint lodged against them. Official.

Punjab Police reached the spot and arrested the accused from there. 

He was absconding for 4 months; the court sent him on a three-day remand. 

The spokesperson further said that the transit demand remand of the said accused has been taken.

The accused village registrar had already taken Rs 2000 as a bribe in exchange for registering the transfer of land.

Bribe was taken in lieu of presenting challan, Punjab Vigilance Bureau took action.

He said that the accused will be produced in the court tomorrow and further investigation of this case is going on.
