New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday cancelled the bail granted to Sonam Raghuvanshi, one of the accused in the alleged murder of her husband, Raja Raghuvanshi, during their honeymoon in Meghalaya last year. The apex court held that she was not entitled to bail and directed her to surrender before the trial court within.
The apex court has asked Sonam's lawyer to file a counter affidavit to the Meghalaya government's plea opposing her bail. The matter will be heard next Thursday.
