A court in Tripura’s North district sentenced two brothers to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment for the rape of a minor school girl in 2022. The ruling was made by a special Pocso court located in Dharmanagar, which also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on each brother, with the stipulation that failure to pay.
