Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has unveiled an ambitious timeline for the rollout of Vande Bharat Sleeper trains the long-distance overnight variant of India’s popular semi-high-speed trains. According to the minister, eight Vande Bharat Sleeper services are expected to be operational within the next six months, and a total of 12 such trains will be introduced.
