The ‘Yudh Nashiyan Virudh’ campaign against drug abuse in Punjab is now being strengthened at the grassroots level. Under this campaign Anganwadi workers are being engaged as ‘Nasha Mukti Mitra’ to educate families and communities about the ill effects of drug abuse. The punjab government aims to prevent drug abuse and connect those in need.
