Theft at Aadhaar Seva Kendra in Ludhiana, AC’s copper pipes and wires stolen

Ludhiana: Thefts are steadily increasing in Ludhiana. The latest incident involved an Aadhaar Seva Kendra on Gill Road, where unknown thieves uprooted valuable copper pipes and electrical wires from the AC. Surprisingly, this incident occurred nearly three months ago, but the case has only been registered now.

Theft discovered when the office opened

Operations Manager Pravesh, a resident of Jawahar Nagar, stated that he had closed the office at 7 pm on January 23rd and left for home. When he arrived the next day, January 24th, at around 10 am, the security guard informed him of the theft.

Upon investigation, it was discovered that the copper pipes and wiring from the wall-mounted AC had been cut and stolen.

FIR filed against unknown thieves after three months

Police from Police Station Division No. 6 have confirmed the incident and have now registered a case against unknown accused under sections 305, 331 BNS.

Search for thieves continues through CCTV footage

Police are reviewing footage from nearby CCTV cameras to identify the accused.
