Trump’s big announcement: Every adult American citizen will receive $5,000 if the Republican Party wins

Washington: US President Donald Trump has promised that if the Republican Party retains control of both houses of Congress, every adult American citizen will receive $5,000. Addressing a campaign rally in Wasilla, Alaska, Trump said that tariff revenue will be used to fund this payment.

Trump said, “If Republicans win the House of Representatives and the Senate, I will give $5,000 to every adult American citizen. Only Republicans can do this, because Democrats cannot. We are raising a huge amount of money.”

He called this plan the “Trump Dividend” and said that the proceeds should be spent within the United States. He reiterated this promise at the end of his speech.

However, Trump did not clarify how the money would be distributed, when the payments would be made, or how much the plan would cost. Such payments would also require US Congressional approval.

Warning of Economic Recession if Democrats Win

Trump claimed at a rally that if the Democratic Party wins, the US could face a Great Depression like the one in 1929. He said, “If the Democrats win, you’re going to see a recession like the one in 1929.”

President Trump was campaigning in support of Republican Senator Dan Sullivan three weeks before the November election. He also targeted Democratic candidate Mary Peltola, calling her “No-Show Mary.” Early voting begins on October 19.

Claim of an Imminent End to the Iran War

On the Iran issue, Trump stated that Tehran would not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons. He claimed that the war would end very soon and that prices would fall significantly.

Referring to the Strait of Hormuz, Trump said that the US has opened it and is now extracting more oil from there than before the war began. He claimed, “We control the Strait.”

He also hinted at further action against Iran, but did not provide any details.

Pardons three individuals, internet expansion announced in Alaska

During the rally, Trump granted a full pardon to Mark Spurlock. He also signed pardon documents for two diesel mechanics from Anchorage, Zachary Shuback and Patrick Fleming. Both were convicted of violating the Clean Air Act for altering vehicle emission controls.

Trump said that they were being tried for 10 years in prison for fixing engines.

Meanwhile, US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr said at the rally that the commission will vote this month on an additional $162 million investment to expand high-speed internet in Alaska.

Also took aim at Canada and illegal immigrants

Trump accused Canada of taking advantage of the US for a long time. He said that Canada had harmed the US for years, but that would not happen anymore.

He also accused Democrats of allowing 25 million people to enter the US through its borders, although he did not provide any evidence to support this figure.

Trump addressed the rally at the Curtis D. Maynard Memorial Sports Center in Wasilla. His two-day trip also included visits to Nevada, Arizona, and Montana.

Fuel prices have remained a key issue during the election campaign. Meanwhile, ongoing tensions in the Gulf region have put pressure on the oil market, which India also closely monitors.
