Two Brothers Die in Kota Flat Fire, Short Circuit Believed to Be Cause

Kota: Two brothers tragically died of suffocation after a fire broke out in their flat at 2 AM in the Pathar Mandi area of Kota. Neighbors noticed smoke rising and immediately broke down the door to rescue the children, taking them to a private hospital, where doctors declared them dead.

Victims: Shaurya and Veer Sharma

The elder son, Shaurya (15), was preparing for IIT at a private coaching center. The younger son, Veer, was a child artist who had acted in TV serials and Rajasthani songs in Mumbai.

Cause of Fire

The incident occurred in flat number 403 of the Deep Shree Multi-story Building under Anandpura police station. A short circuit is believed to have sparked the fire, and smoke quickly engulfed the flat while the children were asleep.

Family Background

Their father, Jitendra Sharma, is a faculty member at a private coaching institute in Kota. Their mother, Rita Sharma, a former Miss Bulgaria and actress, was shooting in Mumbai at the time. The children were alone at home when the fire broke out.

Recently, the family had purchased a new Mercedes car, bringing happiness to the household. This tragic accident has now plunged the family and the Kota community into shock.

Police Investigation

Anandpura police reached the site and shifted the bodies to the Medical College Postmortem Room. Investigations into the fire are ongoing. The incident has sent waves of grief throughout the city.
