This is the case
Dehradun. Some teachers in the Education Department obtained jobs using fake disability certificates. The Education Department issued notices to these teachers. The matter came to light when the National Federation of the Blind filed a public interest litigation in the High Court.
Based on this litigation, the State Medical Board examined the disability certificates of some teachers in 2022 and found them to be fraudulent. Following this, the Education Department was directed to take action against these teachers, but no action has been taken in the matter to date.
