Following UP CM Yogi Adityanath, CM Dhami has now also stated that offering Namaz on public roads is prohibited. Chief Minister Dhami noted that a senior Congress leader had said permission should be granted to offer Namaz on roads.
We, however, maintained that Namaz should be offered only at designated locations. No one has the right to disrupt this established order.
The Chief Minister stated that the Char Dham Yatra is currently underway in the state. Therefore, at this juncture, roads will strictly not be allowed to become a venue for religious demonstrations. We have resolved that, at any cost, the Sanatani devotees and Char Dham pilgrims visiting our state must not face any inconvenience.
Some individuals view everything solely through the lens of vote-bank politics, and this approach is incorrect. In matters concerning these arrangements, we must rise above vote-bank considerations. We will not allow anyone to tamper with the peace, culture, and discipline of this ‘Devbhoomi’ (Land of the Gods).
