Rain Likely In 5 Hilly Districts Of Uttarakhand, Plains To See 4°C Temperature Rise

There is a possibility of rain today in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain and snowfall are expected in five high Himalayan districts of the state. In Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh, there may be very light to light rainfall in some areas.

Along with this, snowfall with thunder is also possible in areas above 4000 meters in altitude. In the remaining districts of the state, the weather will generally remain dry. Bright sunshine may cause a slight increase in temperature.

In Uttarakhand, the maximum temperature is expected to rise by 2-4ᵒC over the next 2-3 days. This will increase heat in the plains and lower hilly areas.

In Dehradun, over the next few days, the sky is expected to be mainly clear to partly cloudy. Additionally, the city’s maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 32°C and 20°C, respectively.
