Rain chances in 5 Uttarakhand districts, heat in plains

Rain is likely today in 5 districts of Uttarakhand. These include Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of very light to light rain with occasional thundershowers in these districts.

Meanwhile, snowfall is also likely in areas with an altitude of 4000 meters or more. The weather in the remaining districts of the state is expected to remain mainly dry.

Temperature crosses 40°C in 5 cities

The blazing heat continues in the plains of Uttarakhand, where Bajpur and Kichha have recorded the highest temperatures at 42°C. Similarly, the mercury has reached 41°C in Ramnagar, Kashipur, and Roorkee, while Haldwani recorded 38°C and the capital Dehradun recorded 36°C, causing heatwaves and intense heat across the region.

According to the forecast by the Meteorological Department in Dehradun, the sky will remain mainly clear and the sun will shine. The city’s maximum temperature is expected to be around 36°C and the minimum temperature around 20°C.

April 23 – The weather will remain mainly dry in all districts.

April 24 – In Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh districts, there is a possibility of very light to light rain and thunderstorms in some areas. Additionally, snowfall is expected in areas at altitudes of 4000 meters and above.

Meanwhile, in the remaining districts of the state, the weather is likely to remain mainly dry.

April 25 – In Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and showers with thunder in some areas, while snowfall is also expected in areas above 4000 meters in these regions.

In the other hilly districts of the state, very light rain and scattered snowfall may occur in high-altitude areas, while the plains districts will mainly experience dry weather.
