Governor Gulab Chand Kataria to Attend State-Level Veer Bal Diwas Event in Ludhiana

Ludhiana: A state-level celebration of Veer Bal Diwas 2025 is being held in Ludhiana. Governor Gulab Chand Kataria is attending the event as the chief guest. The event is being held today at BCM Arya Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar.

The Child Welfare Council of Punjab organised various competitions to educate students about the martyrdom of the four Sahibzadas. These competitions were held for students from primary to secondary levels. Several activities were also organised at the college level. The Governor will honour the winners of these competitions.

Sikh organisations are demanding to change the name of National Veer Bal Diwas.

From the SGPC to numerous Sikh organisations, many are demanding a change in the name of National Veer Bal Diwas. Several MPs from the SGPC and Punjab have also written to the central government in this regard. Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal, and other MPs have written letters.
