Woman brutally murders husband along with lover, sent to two-day police remand

A shocking case has come to light in Amritsar where a wife, along with her lover, murdered her husband. According to the information, Rajni Sharma and her lover Sonu Sharma were arrested by the police and presented in the court, where the honorable court has sent both of them on a two-day police remand.

Police investigation has revealed that Rajni Sharma had an illicit relationship with Sonu Sharma, who runs a photography shop in front of her house, for the last four years. Due to this relationship, both of them strangled Rajni’s husband, Mani Sharm,a to death and threw his body into the Bohru canal.

Wife filed missing report earlier

Let us tell you that initially, Rajni had filed a missing report of her husband at the police station. Still, during the investigation, Mani Sharma’s body was recovered from the Khalra canal two days ago. After this, the police arrested Rajni and her lover, Sonu. During interrogation, both of them revealed the truth and confessed that they had committed the murder together.

While speaking to the media during the court appearance, Rajni said that she had been in a relationship with Sonu for the last four years. She said that she did not want to kill her husband, but Sonu killed him. Rajni also has two children and expressed remorse to the media. On the other hand, Sonu denied the charges and said that he did not commit the murder. Police officials have stated that further significant revelations may be disclosed during the remand.
