The weather in Punjab is going to change once again. The Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms and strong winds in many districts of Punjab.
According to the information, the weather will remain dry today but there is a possibility of light rain and thunderstorms in the next three days from 19 May to 21 May.
The temperature is constantly increasing in Punjab and the temperature of many districts has exceeded 40 degrees.
It is being told that a western disturbance is becoming active due to which there will be a change in the weather. Due to this, a yellow alert has been issued for thunder and lightning.
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for 12 districts of Punjab on 19 May. Light to moderate rain is expected in Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Rupnagar, Nawanshahr, Gurdaspur, Pathankot, Patiala Nagar, Fatehgarh Sahib and S.A.S. Nagar of Punjab. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain/lightning/strong winds (speed 40-50 kmph) in many districts on 20th May.
On the other hand, there is a possibility of rain and strong winds along with lightning in some districts of Punjab on 21st May.
