CBI probe demand gains momentum

Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has sought an independent investigation, stating that the seriousness of allegations and involvement of influential individuals require a fair and transparent probe. The demand has intensified following the registration of an FIR against former minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, his father and aide on charges including abetment to suicide.

In a post on social media, he said that the entire Punjab is like his family and strict action will be taken against anyone violating the law, regardless of their position or influence.
