Punjab RTO Services Completely Faceless, CM Mann’s Major Decision

Punjab Desk: All services of the Transport Department in Punjab have become 100% faceless. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann personally launched this new system by locking the transport office. Aam Aadmi Party convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal accompanied Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

He stated that people will no longer need to visit the RTO office for any work, as all services will be available online. Chief Minister Mann stated that all services, including vehicle registration, driving licenses, permits, and transfers, will now be provided online. He claimed that this will eliminate the practice of middlemen, increase transparency, and provide relief to the public. He also clarified that no employee will lose their job after the faceless system is implemented. All staff will be assigned other responsibilities under the new system.

CM Mann said, “Now, common people in Punjab will no longer have to run around government offices. We are working towards providing honest and simple administration to the public.” Visit a service center only if you cannot fill out your application form online. The service center will have a help desk that will provide you with information on filling out the application form and the required documents.
