New Delhi: An earthquake of magnitude 6.2 struck Afghanistan on Saturday evening, with strong tremors felt across Delhi-NCR, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Chandigarh and several parts of North India, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). Epicentre and Timing The NCS, India’s nodal agency for monitoring seismic activity, said the earthquake originated in Afghanistan.
