Actress Adah Sharma has extended her support to people affected by the devastating floods in Assam. She highlighted the hardships faced by thousands of families and urged people to come forward to help.

Heavy floods continue to batter Assam, claiming 10 lives in the last 24 hours and affecting over 6.53 lakh people in 11 districts. Rescue teams are working round the clock as rivers remain above danger levels.

Around 40,000 people are affected in the district bordering the Indo-Bangladesh border and more than 300 revenue villages of the district have been affected in.

The flood situation in Karimganj district has become worse as more than 1.52 lakh people, including 41,711 children, have been affected.
