Mumbai: Indian stock markets on Tuesday witnessed a positive trend with the benchmark indices gaining strong ground after two days of decline amid mixed global signals. At the closing bell, the BSE Sensex was up by 592.19 points, or 0.79 per cent, at 75,958.36, while the Nifty50 rose by 142.90 points, or 0.63 per cent.
Mumbai: The Indian stock market closed flat on Friday as selling was seen in the auto, PSU bank, financial service, metal, and realty sectors at the end of trading. Sensex slipped 55.47 points, or 0.07 percent, to 79,486.32. On the other hand, Nifty fell 51.15 points, or 0.21 percent, to 24,148.20. Nifty Bank fell 355.30.
The stock market is witnessing a decline today i.e. on 11th July. Sensex is trading at 79,600 level with a decline of more than 200 points. At the same time, Nifty is also down by more than 50 points. It is trading at 24,250 level.
Indian equity indices opened in green on Friday following buying in largecap stocks. Sensex and Nifty made a new all-time high of 79,671 and 24,174 respectively.
The BSE Sensex and Nifty on Friday ended flat with marginal decline. At closing, Sensex settled at 75,410, down seven points and Nifty at 22,957 points, down nearly 10 points.
New Delhi : Indian stock indices traded largely steady at Monday’s opening bell and continued to hover near their all-time highs they touched late last week.The indices had been firm tracking firmness in most sectoral indices coupled with overall stable macroeconomic parameters.At 9.36 am, Sensex was at 74,050.48 points, just 68.91 points down or 0.093.
