Uttar Pradesh’s holy landscape witnessed a momentous spiritual visit on Saturday as Droupadi Murmu arrived at Goverdhan Parvat in Mathura district. In a rare gesture, she undertook the traditional 21‑kilometre parikrama of the sacred hill, covering the entire circumambulation route in a golf cart symbolic of her respect for the religious heritage of the Braj.
