Commercial LPG cylinder prices rise by Rs 49 from February 1, impacting hotels and restaurants. Delhi price reaches Rs 1,740.50 while domestic LPG rates remain unchanged.

Commercial LPG prices have risen sharply at the start of the month, adding to the cost burden of hotels, restaurants and other businesses.

State-run OMCs have reduced commercial LPG cylinder prices by up to ₹6.50 across metros from Saturday, offering slight relief to small businesses.

New Delhi: Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on Sunday said that the price of commercial LPG gas cylinders will be reduced by by Rs 51.50, effective September 1.  Following the revision, a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi will now be available at Rs 1,580. Earlier, OMCs had reduced the price of a 19 kg commercial.
