Tehri: In yet another road mishap in Uttarakhand’s hilly terrain, a bus carrying around 35 pilgrims from Gujarat to Kedarnath Dham overturned on the Tehri-Ghansali motor road on Wednesday, injuring at least 18 passengers. The accident occurred near Daba Khale Naame Toke, approximately 1.5 km ahead of Tipri, when the speeding bus reportedly lost control.
On April 10, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government is dedicated to ensuring the safety of Char Dham Yatra pilgrims, as this pilgrimage is vital for the state's economy.
Rudraprayag: In celebration of Mahashivratri, the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) announced that the doors of Kedarnath Dham, the eleventh Jyotirlinga, will open on May 2 at 7 am. Worship of Lord Bhairavnath is scheduled for April 27, and the Panch Mukhi Doli of Baba Kedar will leave from Shri Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath to Kedarnath.
