Los Angeles: At least two people have died after a flash flood struck the Grand Canyon National Park in the US state of Arizona, while more than a dozen others remain missing or unaccounted for, authorities said. Two bodies have been recovered following what the US National Park Service described as a “significant flash-flood event”.
New York: A police officer was killed and another was injured in a shooting at a park in Columbia, South Carolina, according to police. The suspect also died in the incident.
