The Election Commission of India (ECI) has ordered fresh polling in all 285 booths of West Bengal’s Falta Assembly constituency after citing “severe electoral offences” and “subversion of the democratic process” during voting held on April 29. The decision has been taken after reviewing reports from polling officials and observers regarding irregularities during the election.
