Three Killed After Speeding Car Crashes Into Parked Canter in Jalandhar

Jalandhar: Three youths were killed on the spot after their car, reportedly travelling at a speed of around 140 kmph, rammed into a canter parked on the roadside at around 6 a.m. on Saturday.

The impact was so severe that the car was completely wrecked. Its roof was torn apart and separated from the vehicle, while the number plate was flung away due to the force of the collision. The airbags also deployed.

Bodies Trapped Inside Wrecked Car

Two of the victims were found dead on the front seats of the car, while the body of the third victim was thrown onto the road following the impact.

After receiving information about the accident, police immediately reached the spot. Following considerable efforts, the bodies trapped inside the mangled vehicle were pulled out.

Victims Yet to Be Identified

The bodies have been sent to a hospital for post-mortem examination. The identities of the deceased have not been ascertained so far.

The accident took place near Bal Hospital in the Maqsudan area of Jalandhar. Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
