Himachal minister Vikramaditya Singh ties knot with Prof Dr. Amreen; Members of Royal families from Patiala, Faridkot and Prabhdip Singh Sandhu from Shahzadpur blessed couple

Vikramaditya Singh, son of Himachal Pradesh Public Works Minister and former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, tied the knot with Dr. Amreen Kaur on Monday. The wedding took place at Gurudwara Sahib in Sector 11, Chandigarh. Vikramaditya Singh took the seven vows of marriage with Amreen Kaur, daughter of Sardarni Opinder Kaur and Sardar Jotinder Singh Sekhon, residents of Chandigarh. Members of both families blessed the newlyweds with a happy married life.

The wedding ceremony was attended by members of various princely states of the region. During this the Royal family of Patiala, Prabhdip Singh Sandhu of Shahzadpur state, and Members of the Faridkot Royal Family graced the occasion.

Tied for the Second Time
Vikramaditya Singh, heir to the Bushahr royal family, has tied the knot for the second time. Vikramaditya was first married to Sudarshana Singh of Rajasthan on March 8, 2019, but they divorced in 2020. He has now married Amreen Kaur, a resident of Chandigarh.

 About Dr. Amreen Sekhon
Dr. Amreen Sekhon holds a dual master’s degree in English and psychology and also holds a PhD in psychology. Dr. Amreen Sekhon works as an Assistant Professor at Punjab University. Dr. Sekhon is reportedly a longtime friend of Vikramaditya Singh. She is about 35 years old, and this is her first marriage.

Who is Vikramaditya Singh?
Vikramaditya Singh is a prominent politician and Congress Party leader in Himachal Pradesh. He is the son of the late Virbhadra Singh, former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, and State Congress President Pratibha Singh. Currently, he serves as the Cabinet Minister for Public Works and Urban Development in the Himachal Pradesh government. He is a Member of Parliament from the Shimla Rural Assembly constituency. He received his early education from Bishop Cotton School in Himachal Pradesh and graduated in History from Hansraj College, Delhi University. He subsequently earned a Master’s degree in History from London.
