In a major breakthrough against organised crime and illegal arms trafficking, the Commissionerate Police Amritsar under Punjab Police has successfully dismantled a cross-border illegal arms module, arrested two accused and recovered a cache of five sophisticated pistols along with 10 live cartridges. The operation is being seen as a significant step in curbing the flow.
