Around 180 Punjab ETT teachers and their families protested in Chandigarh over salary disparity, pay parity and long-pending issues linked to the 2016 recruitment process.
In protest against the rejection of the Women's Reservation Bill, female workers of the Punjab BJP staged a demonstration in Chandigarh. The workers were marching towards the residence of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, but the Chandigarh police had already set up barricades to stop them on the way.
